Over the five years of designing the layout of this catalog, I’ve looked at this project as something more than just a book of product information. What I try to accomplish when putting it all together, is to not only showcase the innovative products FINIS carries–but to share the visual and vocal life of the brand. The spirit of the people who made it, the athletes who represent it, and the people who’ve had the joy of experiencing the water with them. This catalog demonstrates the vibrance, dedication, geekiness, and most of all, the love for the sport of swimming. Heart has always been what drives me as a designer and photographer, and I always want to express that in my work. These catalogs give insight to what FINIS is all about–the pages are full of life, beautiful imagery, and wrapped together with a clean design.
